Who should attend the Anti-Convention?
We are Chef's Roll, so everything we do is geared towards Chefs. We want food service professionals that are looking to be inspired, learn something new, make amazing connections in the industry and have a damn good time to come to the Anti-Convention. Past attendees have been chef owners, exec/cdc/sous level chefs, F&B directors and VPs of Culinary.
What’s your refund policy?
We understand things come up, especially in the Chef world. Let us know 30 days before the event if you can no longer make it and we will refund 100% of your paid registration fee.
Do I have to stay at the official event hotel?
No, but we highly encourage you to! By staying on-site you will have quick access to all of the sessions and breakfast/lunch/happy hour/dinners we have planned. The Town and Country Resort just went through a multi-million dollar renovation and is just 15 minutes from the San Diego airport and the best night-life and dining areas in San Diego. We have negotiated a special group rate and have an obligation to fill a certain amount of rooms of course, so please do stay there 😉
What should I wear?
The weather is mild in San Diego (high of 77 and a low of 66 in September) and we're a casual town. Jeans and a button down are our go to. It can get cool at night, so bring a light jacket. If you want a portrait taken by famed photographer Josue Castro in your chef coat, we recommend bringing it with you - we will have a ton of props on hand!

Are all meals included?
Yes, full passes include breakfast, lunch, dinner and a ton of samples during the presentations, as well as happy hour cocktails and our zero proof bar.
